A big thank you to Marcia at The Printed Page for originating Mailbox Monday. It’s gone on tour with a different host each month. Library of Clean Reads is February’s host. The host for March is I’m Booking It.
This week brought a mix of ebooks and paperbacks.
Ascension: A Dark Breed Novel by Sable Grace came from NetGalley. A little about the book: The gates of hell have opened, and one woman will stand in the crossfire as the Dark Breed—vampyre, demons, shape shifters—and mankind fight their last battle for survival.
Phoenix Rising: A Ministry of Peculiar Occurences Novel by Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris. This also came from NetGalley. “Evil is most assuredly afoot—and Britain’s fate rests in the hands of an alluring renegade . . . and a librarian.”
Laura of Library of Clean Reads has been holding giveaways for Mailbox Monday participants. I was last week’s winner of The Jane Austen Fiction Package from SourceBooks. The first is Darcy and Fitzwilliam by Karen V. Wasylowski. It features cousins Fitzwilliam Darcy and Colonel Fitzwilliam. “A gentleman in love cannot survive without his best friend.” The second book is Mr. Darcy’s Secret by Jane Odiwe. “One dark secret can completely ruin a bright future…”
What arrived in your mailbox this week?

I hope you enjoy both galleys and the books you won from Laura!
Congrats on your win and enjoy your books. 🙂
I think it’s a little creepy that your blog is telling me that since I come here a lot I should comment. LoL
It’s right, of course, but to be honest I rarely feel like I have anything intelligent to say in response to blog posts, so I read and leave.
I think it’s creepy when my blog tells me I come here a lot and should leave a comment too. 🙂
Seriously though, it’s a plug-in that’s supposed to gently prompt people to leave comments so I don’t feel lonely here.
