    January has been cold and snowy but the weather hasn’t prevented me from working on my writing.\u00c2\u00a0 This month I began reviewing some older pieces that I liked.\u00c2\u00a0 Either they have gone through another revision or are being worked on.\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n

    I attended an online workshop “Jumpstart the Muse” hosted by Kim Smith<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 It was helpful as she gave her method for providing the Muse some nourishment on a regular basis.\u00c2\u00a0 But she stressed the method had to be adapted to what works for us.\u00c2\u00a0 Sometimes this advice creates much befuddlement in writers.\u00c2\u00a0 With too many choices we don’t know what to do and end up doing nothing.\u00c2\u00a0 For her system it really is adaptable!<\/p>\n

    Other events included the book signings for Sue Miller and Merrill Markoe.\u00c2\u00a0 They are lovely women and I can’t wait to read their books.\u00c2\u00a0 I suppose I’m lucky as I have only been to one book reading\/signing that didn’t go as well as it should have.\u00c2\u00a0 (But that’s a post for another time.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
