The Story of the Month feature has been missing the last few months.\u00c2\u00a0 Either I didn’t read much short fiction or nothing I read stuck.\u00c2\u00a0 In November, I even had a story ready to post.\u00c2\u00a0 It was something I read shortly before the end of October and I wasn’t sure if it really fit the criteria for a Story of the Month.\u00c2\u00a0 Here’s what I said back in April was the criteria:<\/p>\n
I’ve decided to do a new feature by the 7th of each new month.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0As you can guess, I highlight a short story that makes an impression on me.\u00c2\u00a0 The story may not have been published in that particular month or the previous month\u00c2\u00a0– the only qualification is that I read the story after\u00c2\u00a0the previous Story of the Month.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
