  4. Total stories\/poems pending responses: 5<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Pending responses include two poems to one market, a drabble under consideration at one market,\u00c2\u00a0a short story under consideration at another market, and an essay for a contest.\u00c2\u00a0 I did query the status of the poems with no result.\u00c2\u00a0 Unfortunately, I can’t control when people read and respond to emails.\u00c2\u00a0 At least I can take some comfort in knowing they are considered a “slothful” market.<\/p>\n

    The most exciting event from June was attending the workshop at the Greater Columbus Arts Council.\u00c2\u00a0 It fell a little bit outside of my comfort zone.\u00c2\u00a0 I really didn’t know who<\/em> would be there, how<\/em> to get there or what<\/em> to expect.\u00c2\u00a0 It was energizing and opened my eyes to a few things around town I’d previously dismissed.\u00c2\u00a0 I need to trust my instincts a little more and touch base with other writers more often.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
