    The flash fiction piece I sent out last month received a rejection.\u00c2\u00a0 The market provides feedback on submissions from the editors and one of them wanted to include it in the next issue.\u00c2\u00a0 I still have confidence in\u00c2\u00a0the piece\u00c2\u00a0so I will continue to try and find a home for it.\u00c2\u00a0 That drabble that’s been out for 278 days… I’m calling it rejected, even if the market has<\/em> reported a response after 400 days.<\/p>\n

    Now that I’ve written just over 50,000 words for my latest opus, what do I plan on doing with it?\u00c2\u00a0 It’s going into a drawer until after the holidays.\u00c2\u00a0 Then I will begin the editing process for it.\u00c2\u00a0 I’d like to submit it for a writing grant in September 2009 and it will only get\u00c2\u00a0to that point\u00c2\u00a0with a lot of revisions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
