Amy from My Friend Amy sent all of the official blog participants these survey questions.\u00c2\u00a0 I thought I’d answer them and share them with you.<\/span><\/p>\n

1) What is the craziest place you’ve ever read?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I suppose the craziest place would be wherever I can take my PDA with me.\u00c2\u00a0 The last year or so I’ve read ebooks on my Palm.\u00c2\u00a0 It’s especially nice when I’m working on a book review for a publication.\u00c2\u00a0 Though nothing can replace the feel and weight of a book in my hands, they don’t always fit well into my purse.

2) How many books are in your TBR pile?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

At last count <\/span>LibrayThing<\/span><\/a> had me at 137 books.\u00c2\u00a0 They are scattered throughout the house.\u00c2\u00a0 I have two bookshelves by our fireplace with TBR books and three boxes in the basement.\u00c2\u00a0 There is a box of books unaccounted for that I haven’t been able to locate so there may be more than 136.

3) How many hours a week do you spend on reading? <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I try to read for 30 – 60 minutes a day.\u00c2\u00a0 On the weekends I can usually find more time to read.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4) How many hours a week do you spend blogging?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When I first began it was only a handful of hours.\u00c2\u00a0 The giveaway posts announcing giveaways on other sites and blogs used to take the most time.\u00c2\u00a0 You wouldn’t believe how hard it can be to find recent book giveaways listed on Google.\u00c2\u00a0 Now I confess I cheat a little on\u00c2\u00a0giveaway posts… I usually go to LibraryThing first to see if there is anything my regular site visitors might want to read.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5) What’s been the best experience you’d had since you started blogging about books?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The best experience would be the comments.\u00c2\u00a0 They are nearly always surprising in some fashion.\u00c2\u00a0 Sometimes authors stop by because they’ve seen my name on some of their book tour stops.\u00c2\u00a0 Or someone on the other side of the world found me through a Google search.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
