A big thank you to Marcia at\u00c2\u00a0A Girl and Her Books<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0for originating Mailbox Monday<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 This weekly meme is now on tour with a new host each month.\u00c2\u00a0 April’s host is Passages to the Past<\/a>.<\/p>\n All my books this week are from NetGalley.<\/p>\n Bite Me<\/em> and Fang Me<\/em> by Parker Blue<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 These are part of the Demon Underground Series featuring Val Shapiro.\u00c2\u00a0 She’s\u00c2\u00a0part human, park demon and hunts vampires.\u00c2\u00a0 I read the second book, Try Me<\/em>, last year when I won it from LibraryThing’s Early Reviewers.\u00c2\u00a0The publisher is holding a contest on Parker Blue’s website to win all three books.<\/p>\n Skinny<\/a><\/em> by Diana Spechler<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 After her father’s death, Gray Lachmann becomes a counselor at a summer camp for overweight children.<\/p>\n The Keeper of Lost Causes <\/em>by Jussi Adler-Olsen.\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t know anything about the plot but Jussi Adler-Olsen is a Danish crime writer.\u00c2\u00a0 That’s really all I needed to know. :)\u00c2\u00a0 It’s release date is August 2011.<\/p>\n The Mice of Bistrot des Sept Freres <\/em>by Marie Le Toureau.\u00c2\u00a0 This is a children’s book about Chef Marcel who runs the trendiest mouse cafe in Paris.\u00c2\u00a0 A culinary judge is about to stop by the cafe when Chef Marcel runs out of the secret ingredient for his cheese soup.<\/p>\n The Ninth Wife: A Novel <\/em>by Amy Stolls.\u00c2\u00a0 What sane woman would consider becoming any man’s ninth wife? Bess Gray is a thirty-five-year-old folklorist and amateur martial artist living in Washington, DC. Just as she’s about to give up all hope of marriage, she meets Rory, a charming Irish musician, and they fall in love.
