Last year and this year I’ve participated in a challenge called Writo De Mayo.\u00c2\u00a0 It has a lot more flexibility than NaNoWriMo.\u00c2\u00a0 The participant chooses the goal.<\/p>\n
I’ve seen goals of “writing # words daily”, “writing drabble\/poem each day”, and “finish reading book\/research for novel”.\u00c2\u00a0 This year my goal was to have a second draft of my 2008 NaNo currently titled Three Girls, a Corgi and a Dead Body<\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0 Gee… I wonder who some of the main characters might be?\u00c2\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n I procrastinated too long and didn’t take into account how much time would be needed to edit it into the next draft so I didn’t complete my goal this year for Writo De Mayo.\u00c2\u00a0 It has not been as painful to read it as I expected.\u00c2\u00a0 The Corgi is more of a character at the beginning than towards the end.\u00c2\u00a0 Two of the characters are sisters and one has the horrible nickname of “Sass”.\u00c2\u00a0 She’s losing that in the next draft.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Last year and this year I’ve participated in a challenge called Writo De Mayo.\u00c2\u00a0 It has a lot more flexibility than NaNoWriMo.\u00c2\u00a0 The participant chooses the goal.
